Empanada Loca

I've tried empanadas in so many places and countries, but this place has the best ones ever. Thank you. Update: I came back after a year, live too far from this place, I was excited to have the empanadas again but they were not the same, sorry I just didn't like it at all, something changed, please make the empanadas like before.

My two times dining in experience here has been wonderful. I read the reviews and perhaps they may be working on the delivery aspect but no issues dining in from what I saw. The server was great, appetizers which were the plantain chips & salsa were good, and we ordered the wheat empanadas. My favorite is the cheeseburger one but I also enjoyed the beef as well as the chicken empanadas. Each order comes with 2 and the portion size is adequate. The type of empanada you order has the name engraved on the crust in case you have a mix up or want to share. My favorite dessert was the guava heaven empanada but I also liked the tres leches that my girlfriend ordered. I had a few bites to try it out. You are asked whether you would like tap water or sparkling water as you are seated. You can dine inside that has plenty of seating or you can choose outside seating that is covered and looks really nice as well. I spoke with Tommy, co-owner, and he was very personable and easy to talk to. He even offered my party a free complimentary shots. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere, and value. I will certainly go back soon and bring family & friends so they too can enjoy the experience. A nice gem to have in Park Slope.

The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Great food paired with great drinks in a fun way. Jess the bartender is amazing!

I was so excited when I got the chance to try this restaurant! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a cute restaurant and was greeted. I was greeted by the owner, George, who was super nice and was served by the manager Nico and the bartender Jenn, and they were great! We had different cocktails and food, including the plantain chips w/ Morita salsa, cerviche, Elotes, infused (drink), Octopus Avacado salad, fish tacos, skirt steak, and stuffed chicken. I really loved the old-fashioned drink, which was strong. I also loved the stuffed chicken. Let's not forget the delicious dessert. I had a really wonderful experience
