Emmy Squared Pizza: Germantown

Went in on a Sunday afternoon and had a seat at the bar. I was warmly greeted by Marcus, who walked me through vegetarian pizza options. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza with no meat. Pizza was delicious, really enjoyed the chile sauce on it. Nice atmosphere. I recommend.

Great option for Detroit style pizza with a lot of options.

Their gluten pizza is superior!! I am actually excited for my leftovers!! Absolutely delicious. My friend had the hawaiian on normal crust and made several remarks that it’s the “best pizza” he’s EVER had! docked a star because I ordered a cocktail alcohol-free. asked to swap the rum for soda water and was still charged $14 which seems steep for a glass of juice - super yummy though if ya wanna splurge!! Was not expecting $60+ for a personal pan pizza and two n/a bevs. Dietary restrictions: AMAZING for gluten free, expensive for alcohol free

Top notch food and service. I have been here several times in the last two months, always at noon when they open and never had a problem. Today I arrived at 12:04 to find the door locked and the lights in the dinning area off. I was heart broken. I stepped on the patio looking through the window to see if anyone was inside. A young man whose name I did not get came to the door and I asked “Are y’all opening late today?” He replied “well we open at noon” and looked at his phone to only realize it was 5 after. He never hesitated and said come on in and take a seat anywhere you’d like. He then explained the front of house employees had not yet arrived and he was actually the cook and had never waited tables. Without hesitation he got my drink and order. Never complained about doing someone else’s job that had not yet arrived. The cheese bread was 10/10 as usual and the cheese pizza the same. This place has never disappointed and without a doubt the young man cooking these meals is doing it with a passion that will make your tastebuds scream in excitement. I would also like to note that my lunch break is only 30 minutes long, from the time I sat down to the time I was finished eating was 20 minutes. Fast, delicious, and consistent food.

Insanely impressive cocktails. Ryan served us masterfully and Marcus also gave us some incredible recommendations. As a cocktail enjoyer myself, they won me on so many points in order of notice. 1. They served me a unique cocktail in the proper glass-wear and icing (served up) that it should have been for the style (I ordered the seasonal pear cocktail, can’t remember the name), and it was great 2. Not overpriced for the quality at all 3. Proper ingredients 4. Functional garnish of desiccated citrus wheel 5. Excess espresso martini that my friend ordered was still served with a cute little espresso bean on top which is an attention to detail I can only both chuckle and applaud 6. After talking more in depth on cocktails they asked me for my next at which point I was well confident enough to say “dealers choice,” and they pulled out a bible of cocktails which made my heart flutter (a sign of infinite possibilities and knowledge) 7. Marcus recommended me a cocktail I’ve never had after Ryan asked me my preferences. Ryan then, in my opinion, recreated the cocktail deliciously even though he had never made it before (a show of proper skill) I had already ate and therefore did not try the food so I cannot honestly comment on it. If it’s anything like their drinks I’m sure it’s delicious but I cannot leave a rating in good conscience. Perhaps next time. I hope that doesn’t hurt their ratings though and if it does I will amend however I can because my experience today easily made my night. Overall after being so burnt out on overpriced and underskilled cocktails in Nashville, I have finally found two bartenders who know exactly what they are doing and have checked every box in my book (for whatever value that is).

We were in nashville for a quick trip and originally planned for a different restaurant. We popped in here and they were great. Staff was very attentive. Pizza was great! The zia fries are soooo good! A must try. It was very stormy that day and the waiter let us know if it got bad we would go down to the parking garage to be safe. That was awesome that they were looking out for their patrons. This place was great. If ever back in the area we will be back!!
