אחד הבראנצ'ים הטובים בעיר! לא לפספס את סלט הרועים ואת הביצים האפויות בפרמז'ן פשוט וטעים!
Have eaten at Ella Social a handful of times. This restaurant is small inside but has nice outdoor space and is always packed as what seems is at every point throughout the day. They have great lunch and happy hour specials with reasonable pricing during both settings. The food is solid here. Ella Social is definitely a great neighborhood restaurant to visit.
Came here on a Friday night, we wanted to sit at two open bar seats but the seating was SO cramped we settled for a cold table by the door. There seemed to only be one server for the whole restaurant which must be stressful, but it took 20+ mins trying to get his attention so I could order anything. He couldn’t tell me anything about the wine menu, and said they only had one dry red by the glass (there’s supposed to be a rotating menu?) We ordered two glasses and he brings us a whole BOTTLE of a more expensive wine saying that’s what I ordered. There was a bit of a language barrier so I gave up and settled for it at that point. At least most of the food was good, except the bravas was essentially extremely dry home fries.
Nicest servers ever, they make the experience very personal. The croquetas are the best I have ever tried. Everything is always great
It was a very noisy place. The waiter insisted that we sit at the noisiest corner although more than half of the restaurant was empty . We left and went to Pomodoro Rosso on 229 Columbus Ave , only one short block away and we were treated very nicely there . We were so glad that we left this place for Pomodoro Rosso, which also had very tasty Italian food and exquisite cocktails .
Great place to have drinks with a group. Decent appetizers
Ella has all of the warmth of a neighborhood spot and, yet, always feels like a special evening out. The care taken with each item of food and the creativity of their craft cocktails, along with the perfect atmosphere, make me a very happy (way too frequent!) regular at this gem of the UWS. Most special, though, is the incredible staff (and owner!) and the familial community among them, which they graciously extend to every patron that crosses their threshold. Go to Ella to get a cocktail made by the incomparably kind and expert Martha and a delicious, well-deserved meal after a long day…and then repeat over and over again. I’ll probably see you there. LOVE ELLA!
