Holly is the worst person. She needs to be fired.

It was a extremely cozy place. The vibe was really warm and comfy. I visited during the restaurant week and the food was amazing, especially the polenta with shrimp. The service was exquisite.

Amazing restaurant! Has become one of my favs! Amazing food, drinks and service! Great atmosphere. Highly recommend for a date night, birthday, girls night out..really any event!

I chose to celebrate my birthday at Ella Eli and my guests and I will be talking for months on what an excellent experience we had. Absolutely hands down one of the best dinners in Chicago. Paige, our server , was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was spectacular. The layers of flavor and texture kept you eager for the next bite! Holly as well was very kind to meet with my table and wish me a lovely birthday! She interested with my guests like they were old friends. Truly and genuine experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Came for Restaurant Week brunch. I'll admit that looking over the menu, I was unsure how much I'd enjoy it, as there weren't many options (3 first course options, 5 second course options) and because Ella Elli normally doesn't do brunch. However, I must say that everything I had was delicious! I got the Baker's Board for the first course. It came with three mini pastries, all of them fresh and tasty. For the second course, I got the Breakfast Flatbread (doesn't appear on the online menu, but it was on the paper menu we were given). The combination of flavors on it was delicious! The service was fantastic as well. Overall I was impressed with the experience and would definitely come back to try their normal menu.

Really cute date spot, delicious food & attentive service. The ricotta gnocchi was amazing, also really loved the scallops, french onion toast, and beef tartare. Erica took care of us and was great, thank you!
