Fast service and good food. What else is there.
Great spot, I have been coming here for years and the food and service is always excellent. I have eaten here at breakfast, lunch, and dinner times, and the whole experience is always pretty spot on. The inside of the restaurant is nothing fancy, But if you are going out to eat, it is because you want good food and good service, and Elijah’s delivers both. Bonus: They are open on most major holidays from my understanding. I have eaten here on holidays such as fourth of July, thanksgiving, and christmas day and they have been open. Total score: 5/5.
Oh my!! Such a lovely safe-haven for the best Jewish comfort food in San Diego! I have been on travel from DC and needed a little piece of home to warm my soul; thank you. Everyone try the best Falafel Sandwich around!
The food quality was amazing. I ordered breakfast stake. Hashbrwon and eggs were fresh . Service speed and friendliness were very nice. Recommend for breakfast 100%.
Food was excellent. Large menu so there is definitely something for everyone. We were seated in a corner and after water service, we waited 20 minutes to give our order. That was the only downside-not sure if it was server related or the design of restaurant being in the corner.
The chef needs to be cloned. Wowzers…I went on a limb and thought Mexican omelette how good could it be at a deli type restaurant? The chorizo pepper and potatoes ratio was down right perfect. Great way to start my day for sure. Not a big fan of the salsa that came with it. My opinion is that it would’ve ruined the kick from the chorizo and avocado sauce. Not gonna lie, I ordered a second on just to make sure it wasn’t a lucky batch. If you’re ever in the area try the Mexican Omelette and let me know your thoughts.
