Great food in an unpretentious atmosphere. You feel like you are a welcome guest at the house of a great cook.
I don't frequent Armenian cuisine restaurants but this one is a delight. The ingredients such as those in the salad is fresh and crisp. The quail is bony and there isn't much beyond the bones and the skin is too chared to enjoy. Other than that, the dishes are flavorful.
Tasty excellent food mouth watering omg.
I crossed town to meet a friend in Glendale for lunch at Elena's Restaurant. It's a small restaurant you might drive right by but you would missing something special if you do. My friend Bevelry introduced me to Virginia, the original owner who is Armenian-Greek. Virginia retired but still works there to help out and clearly enjoys being there and seeing her long-timecustomers like my friend. Both Virginia and the new management, including this young gentleman Armen, were fantastic. The restaurant is small, but warm, and everyone is very welcoming. Both Virginia and Amern helped walk me through the extensive menu as this was my first time. We started with Muttabbal (Baba Gannuj) which is a delicious eggplant hummus. I could have made a meal out of that dish alone! I ordered a combo plate of two meets Beef Shish Kebab and the Chicken (BBQ) Shish Kebab's plus an Armenian Salad. The kebab spices were so tasteful (not hot but tasty) that I wanted to order more to take home. The servings were a large amount of food. My friend ordered a combo plate with the salmon and pork chops which are her favorites. I loved all our dishes and look forward to eating there again. I only wish I had room to order desert.
Great food, really nice menu!
ビーフケバブとラムケバブを食べたことがありますがどちらも非常においしかった。この辺にはたくさんの地中海料理屋がありますが、ここは値段もリーズナブルで味のレベルも高いです。
Absolute Garbage, from the place to the food. The chicken shawarma plate is more like chicken curry than shawarma, when asked for more garlic paste their response was oh we have to charge you for it. Gheda Sefat to the bone, go figure!
