Cool spot to catch a concert

We frequent this venue for shows all the time, totally worth the 1.5 hour drive for us. Very comfortable, friendly place. Nicest bartenders around

I rarely write negative reviews, believe Google reviews are for uplifting businesses however as someone who works in the bar and hookah industry thought I should share. Visited electric haze on 12/7/23. Their website said they opened at 6pm. A friend and I each drove an hour to get there and killed a few hours in the city prior. We arrived at 7:15 pm and were told they were not open yet and did not open until 8pm. When we shared that it was 15 degrees farenheit outside and well after their posted open time the bartender and table folks said "sure you can sit but we can't serve you" after much hesitation. My friend and I sat for a moment and decided to go to a nearby bar. On the way out I asked if our cover charge ($5 each because I guess it was drag karaoke that night) would be waved because we showed up almost 1.5 hours after the listed time of opening on Google and it was really cold out (15 degrees farenheit). They said no because "we need to get paid too" I'm really disappointed, not only because I've been raving about Electric haze since I used to attend Spiritual Haze back from 2008-10. I'm disappointed because it is a public health risk that this business's posted hours are misleading and literally are expecting customers to wait outside in the New England winter with an honestly rude attitude. I had previously bought a Groupon to electric haze for $15 for a hookah (listed at A $30 value) even though post purchase I looked at the website and their hookah was listed as a $20 value? I was really looking forward to enjoying hookah and drink but can't In good conscience thinking that someone with less resources than me (someone with a car to hang in or capital to spend) would probably be left in the cold. Really disappointed in this business
