I arrived at the location and was placed on a waiting list for a table. They said it would take 25 minutes and took my number down. I then asked if it would be faster if we were to be seated out in the patio and was told no it would be about the same amount of time. 10 minutes into my wait, a Hispanic family arrives and the host tells them if they would like a booth it would take "a couple of minutes," or to be seated outside right away. The Hispanic family decided to be seated right away in the patio. The host immediately called an employee from the patio area to have them seated in the patio. In disbelief, I approached the hosts and asked them why that family was seated outside when I asked for the same option and was told it would be a 25 minute wait for both inside and outside. Both hosts looked at me and didn't have anything to say and just smiled back at me. I got upset and decided to leave with my family to another restaurant. At no point did they offer to have me seated right away or apologize. Instead they were laughing at my frustration. I would highly recommend you don't visit this location if you want to be treated equally.

It's a pretty good buffet. Nothing too exciting to talk about. Rumor has it, this location is closing but you would never know by the way the servers treat you.

Their closing this location, Orange, California, next week. What a loss!

I’m disabled. I sometimes have exhausting doctor appointments at one of the clinics at UCI hospital. One of my favorite meals is the Mexican Caesar Salad. Ever since the pandemic and even afterwards I’ve been able to get curbside service. But today around 2:30 I stopped by to order and pick up my salad, chips, salsa and guacamole to take home for dinner. A girl/woman answered the phone, and when I asked about it she said ‘no’. To which I answered, your manager okay with losing a sale and are you okay with losing a tip (and I tip pretty well considering certain wage shortages and the extra effort to accommodate me). She put me on hold and after 7 minutes I hung up and went home. Oh well. I didn’t get my treat and that girl lost around $15 dollar tip.
