El Taquito

This place is great. Everyone who works there is super nice. The drinks are the best around and the food is really really good. Fresh. Full of flavor. Not sure where they get their meat but dang, it’s really good. We’ve been going since we moved to the Pflug from Austin 4 years ago and El Taquito never disappoints. I only mention Austin to say it’s not like we don’t have a point of reference on Mexican food and margaritas. Tex Mex and margies literally ooze out of every corner of Austin and we definitely had our favorites in our old hood. I challenge you to find a better margarita or fresher guacamole or a more flavorful pastor taco than el Taquito. It’s become our go to when we have guests in from out of town.

The first time here, the food was decent, but for some reason, my plate was a little watery but it was still tasty, and the margaritas tasted good, but it didn't have much alcohol at all for the price so me 8 bucks is to pricey for a small margaritas with no alcohol...to me this place was just a one step grade from taco cabana...go check em out.

This is by Far the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. I travel a lot to Mexico and their food and drinks are the closest I have seen to my culinary experiences throughout Mexico. Congratulations!

No where near good mexican food. A mfdonalds breakfast would've been better.

Our group of 7 today all agree! Food was great! At 2pm, you were able to seat us quickly, even though you were rather busy. Between us, we probably tasted every taco available, whether as a plate with sides or just 2-3 tacos each. Our waiter was professional, but so friendly, & comfortable in his work. Said name was John & he's a good'un! This wasn't our first visit but only time to have brought a group of 'out of town & state' family with us! They enjoyed themselves. Parking: It scares me to think that 'success' may require a bigger place & more parking.... and you may move from the area!!!
