Food was sooo good. Drinks were excellent! It is always our go to place with friends.
Friendly people good food
The inside of the premises was clean and we were greeted promptly by the friendly hostess and seated. A complimentary basket of chips and the "house" tomato sauce and pico de gallo was brought. The "queso and jalapenos" is now $2 extra which is worth it in this reviewer's opinion, even though it wasn't easy to get. The main course "Con carne chili"is as good as ever. The chile relleno stuffed with cheese was good but not the best. The Caldo De Res was missing the potato and corn on the cob and the carrots and celery were in 6 inch pieces. Next year will mark 50 years that El Taco Real opened and that's worth a lot by itself. There are still too many older servers that are not attentive and their calculations for tipping include the tax, which is wrong.
Worst mexican food I have had in years steak fajitas were underderdone guacamole also bad ...been going there for years...no more
