Great restaurant and friendly staff.

I was stunned to find such a budget friendly, high quality Mexican restaurant in the heart of trendy, expensive Manhattan Beach. My chicken enchiladas were not only flavorful they were moist and smooth. With other restaurants, the chicken and the chicken enchiladas is often dry. Not here! My wife had the veggie tostada and loved it. We were able to feed four people for about $120, including tip. Service was friendly and fast all around, and it was right downtown, two blocks from the water! El Sombrero has been a Manhattan Beach mainstay since the seventies, but this is the first time I experienced it. Family owned, I recommend it unreservedly. Wonderful place, and a great value!
