Lovely and authentic place. For all the celiacs out there, 90% of the menu is gluten-free, because it is based on corn and not wheat. Our waiter was very, very kind and asked us few times if surely all is good withour food! Their tacos are homemade and delicious. Highly recommend! Edit: I went there 2nd time and ordered the same. Food quality is still great

We had the Beef Nachos and a beef chimichanga and they were both delicious. The young lady that helped us place our order (Paula) was very friendly and very helpful. The only downside is there is no AC so it was a little warm in there.

I’m Mexican and very often when a place says “authentic Mexican food” I’m disappointed. NOT HERE. If you want to know what Mexican food tastes like in Mexico, this is the place. I had a tlayuda (typical dish from Oaxaca), tacos de suadero (this is basically brisket but the Mexican way — soft, juicy, understated and so rich), and my girlfriend had the quesabirrias (she’s not Mexican so she picked a crowd pleaser and wasn’t disappointed). This place is a kind of iconic sample of what I love the most about Mexico — it’s a small space, but they make it shine. The food is so much cheaper than anything on the Boardwalk, too. I’m not even from AC but I will be coming back just for these tacos!
