El Rey Taqueria is my absolute favorite spot for authentic Mexican food! Their tacos are packed with flavor and the salsa bar offers a variety of delicious options to spice things up. Extremely disappointed My drive thru Order was completely wrong.

I ordered the chicken tortilla soup. It was very watery and only had a few pieces of chicken. The enchiladas were gross. I usually patronize the one near my job on Katy Freeway and they are always on point. Not sure what happened to the location off the North Loop?

If you're ever in the Heights come here the food is delicious it's laid back atmosphere good service and good people and great food
