El Rey

When I come to Galveston I like ordering from El Rey for breakfast. It's always very yummy, large portions and great prices!

We had Huevos rancheros and Migas a la Mexicana. Both were good but not outstanding, taste wise. Big portions. Prices very reasonable and staff (owners daughters that day) super pleasant. Lots of regulars coming in. I’ll go back to try the chilaquiles and carne guisada! Take cash and watch out where you park if it’s raining. A humongous breakfast burrito is only $3!

I will always choose el Rey’s over any burrito place on the island. El Rey’s is homemade on the go. Not over produced and under a warmer like other places on the island. They’re made to order at el Rey’s!! Thank you for 10 years of wonderful food and memories! Will always recommend yall!

We went to Chick-fil-A for breakfast, but they don't open till 11 am. I found this place and so happy I did. Amazing food! There were six of us, and the bill was less than $40.

First time eating here and we enjoyed it. Great breakfast
