I made a to go order today and was terribly disappointed. I ordered beef enchilada plate and the enchiladas did not taste good at all. They were bland and tasteless. I was surprised that this was the level of food that is being served. This is not the food that we used to have here.
It was definitely a great place to eat
Very cool restaurant with some great food. The service was good as well.
Me encanto este lugar de comida y ambiente mexicano en Dallas. Recomiendo la parrilla para compartir. Nosotros pedimos para 3 personas, costo 69 dolares.
Spent some time in Bishop Arts district today, and we were recommended to visit this restaurant. I am not familiar with the area, so it took a little effort to find the place. Parking was easy, but it was metered and cheap. We walked in and were seated immediately despite the fact that the parking lot was full and the restaurant was busy. First thing that I noticed was that the atmosphere was welcoming and felt authentic for a Mexican restaurant. Within a couple of minutes or less our waiter stopped by and took our drink order and then chips and salsa were on the table. Salsa was fresh and tasty. We spent a few extra minutes figuring out the menu because it was not like a standard TexMex menu and a lot of it was in Spanish. We ordered guacamole for a starter and it was good. Our entrees were the shrimp tacos and Birria tacos. Everything tasted great and more importantly it was hot (temperature). I really wanted to try the mole, but the regular menu did not have a dish that specifically called my name with the mole. I wanted to try their food as is. Next time I go, I will try to special order enchiladas and substitute tomatillo sauce for mole. I didn't even eat dinner tonight because I am still full for lunch. We really loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the general vibe of the neighborhood. We will certainly visit again. Parking: 25 cents per hour Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly
Good authentic Mexican food!
