El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant

The hot sause was amazing, that started the meal great. The chicken enchiladas had great flavor especially the cheese sause!! First time here in Bloomington, In; from Texas and would recommend this place to anyone!!

Just wonderful tonight. Very nice waiter and fast service. Clean as always.

The food isn't very good. I don't think the kitchen cares much about what they're sending out. The waiter tried to steal the change from my bill, so there's that. They sat me at a dirty table. It was just kind of awful. The place is beautifully decorated though. My advice is that you walk in, take a look around, enjoy the scenery, and leave.

I've been here many times with friends, and the food is consistently decent. It's not spectacular, but it's good food. This last time I ordered a mojito with my meal, and it was the worst mojito I've had. It was just lime juice and rum. Nothing else. I think people have enjoyed the margaritas, so I would stick to those. In my opinion, the meals are a bit pricey for the quality, but it's not a bad restaurant.

Came with my daughter after church for an afternoon meal. Waiter gentleman was very unaccommodating and borderline rude. Even my 11 y.o. daughter noticed. Waited almost 15 minutes before getting our drinks ordered and it wasn't that busy at all. Waiter was very short and very avoidant, felt as if there was some sort of apprehension to serving my Black family. Meanwhile, the next table over seemed to have a more attentive and friendly level of service. We ran out of tortilla chips, salsa and beverages before our food came and I couldn't even find the waiter to ask for more without having to go hunt him down...I decided not too, we finished our food and got out of dodge...would've loved to have left a larger tip--honestly suprised I had it in me to tip at all. Very disappointed my child had to be exposed to that.

Me and my family eat here at least twice a week every week . This is by far my favorite place to eat !

They were busy, but the service was quick. The food was really good. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly and they responded quickly to our requests. The food came quickly and was hot and tasty. I would definitely go there again; it is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food was good, service is a bit inconsistent. This time when I went we only saw the server twice and I had to ask a few times to get a refill on my soft drink.
