Always enjoy our meal there. The management there is always attentive and truly interested in our dining experience. The waitstaff is equally attentive. Their chicken tortilla soup is excellent and my wife's favorite

Nice atmosphere. Horrible service. Food was OK. They dont follow up with drink refills. Our waitress got our order wrong, then tried to charge us for her mistake. Long wait times for service, then when we went to find our waitress to pay she was playing games with another server in the kitchen. Go somewhere else.

I didn't actually dine-in at Ranchero, but did what many others do instead in ordering from Moon Hollow - the brewery next door. I got the arroz con pollo, which was fairly priced and tasted good! They also gave me a ridiculous amount of chips and salsa, which I definitely appreciated. I can't attest to the service, but it seemed pretty quiet inside. They honestly might be better off doing take out only.

The service here is amazing and the margaritas are worth each dollar. If you want to taste the best cheese fries ever come here. The steak they use of the cheese fries is amazing. Great prices and atmosphere!!

Yeah--nope. Nice outdoor seating, service was basic. Ordered Molcajete. Food was ok--decidedly acceptable until, as I scooped some beans and shrimp from the bottom of the bowl, up came a stink bug. No way he flew in after service--his legs were cooked off and he was well-marinated (RIP). Showed the waiter who closely observed the little creature and walked away; end of story. I paid the check--no offer was made to comp the meal or "drinks are on us"--and no apology from mgmt. I wasn't looking for a pound of flesh, but some response beyond "nothing to see here" would have seemed appropriate. All in all, next time will choose one of the dozens of local restaurants that do not cook/serve bugs. (Basic food safety = minimum standard.)

This was approximately my 5th time. The previous times, our experience was better but we were very disappointed with our service and food tonight. The waitress got several parts of our order incorrect (wrong side items being brought, only half of my child’s order was brought. Took 20 minutes to get the rest brought out. No spoon for my soup and we waited 15 minutes before having to get up ourselves to ask for a spoon). Each time we needed to bring a concern to the wait staff, we had to get up from our table (twice) to find someone because no one ever came back to check on us. Mexican restaurants tend to be quicker but it ended up taking 90 minutes and it was only myself, my husband, and one child in our party. The restaurant was fairly vacant with only 4 other tables seated. Our food was very hit or miss. Two of our entrees tasted like they had almost no seasoning. That felt very off compared to our past experiences. When she brought the bill, the waitress brought a handheld portable credit card scanner that only showed the total price. She seemed put off when we asked to see the itemized receipt before paying. I’m glad we did because there were items that were incorrectly charged (charged for a side item we didn’t order) and her response was “I can take it off if you want”. The entire time we were looking at the receipt and paying with the portable scanner, she stood uncomfortably close hovering over my husband. Twice while he was trying to get the device to accept his card, she interjected and pointed at the screen and twice said “sir, this is how you can select the tip”. It felt extremely pushy and then the only options for tip were preset at 20% and 30%. Given our difficult experience, we did not feel we wanted to pay that much in tip since we reserve 20% for good service and higher than that for exceptional service. When we left, none of the wait staff acknowledged our leaving and our waitress was in the corner near the host stand drinking a milkshake and laughing with another wait staff. We have decided we won’t be going back.
