I came here because the San Francisco Chronicle listed it as one of the best 10 tamales in the bay area. I was not disappointed. It’s not traditional corn masa tamales from Mexico, but rather rice or potato masa tamales. The sauces are wonderful the meat is tender, and the tamales melt in your mouth. The nice lady behind the counter was very helpful in helping me make my choices. I bought six different tamales to take home. I’ll be back.

Having just driven across the country and craving good mexican food my son and I took a chance on this little taqueria while our car was serviced nearby. We didn't want a heavy meal and our super burrito and quesadillas were excellent. The customers seemed to be mostly locals who were ordering giant bowls of some sort of soup. There were many items on the menu that looked good!

Buena comida y excelente servicio.

The girl taking our order was really nice. The food was awful but we ate it because we were traveling and we were so hungry! Both my husband and I were sick for days after we ate there.
