Absolutely disguting. Got a family meal paid around 60 bucks to have it delivered eith postmates. The chicken was the worst I've ever had at any ell pollo. They were dry over cooked chicken that's been sitting for a day or two. I will never buy anything from this location again.

You wanna know something? Fast food in La Mesa is really hit or miss. I’ve been to this here place a good dozen times in the last 4 or 5 months and only had one bad experience. Honestly that’s pretty good. Everyone is going to have a bad day here and there so I try to keep that in mind. Consistency is key in my opinion and this place is consistent on everything. Friendly service and really tasty food. Keep your current staff happy because they’re the ones making it happen.

The chicken breast is so dry that I can't even eat it. I took a piece and I thought I had a bone in my mouth. Must have been grilled for hours. This is the one in la mesa. Horrible dinner and it's so hot or I would take it back 😩. I will never go back.

This is my favorite place to eat, it is very clean and staff very friendly. The food is very good, I tend to purchase the Traditional Pollo Bowl because of the low cost and includes a fountain drink. The salsas are so good and spicy!
