Good food Parking: Big parking lot

Always great food!

They were out of breast meat and I was told it would be 30 to 40 min wait. I didn't order the breast meat and I still was stuck in the drive thru for 30 minutes and then in the parking lot for 10 min. I guess, don't go at dinner time.

I dine here regularly for lunch, always pickup a double chicken avocado salad which is great. However, the last two times I picked up a salad “in the evening”, the size of the salad had decreased by 30% - 40% compared to the lunchtime salad while paying the same price. Of course you don’t find it out until you get home and when I try to call the restaurant, nobody ever answers. DO NOT BUY A SALAD FROM THIS EL POLLO LOCO RESTAURANT IN THE EVENING. UPDATE: (I initially gave them 2 stars) Just picked up a salad for lunch today and it appears SMALLER SALADS for a NEW HIGHER PRICE is now the new norm. Additionally, their online survey system has been down for weeks, supposedly for maintenance. Great business model? What’s next, bankruptcy? Don’t buy any gift cards. Sure going to miss their salads.
