It was fun and delicious trying something new! I had the fried pork chop. It was good. Nataly our server was super nice and helpful. And the owner came out and said hi. Vegetarian options: I didn’t have vegetarian so unsure. Parking: Big lot in a strip mall Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room for kids. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair spot in the curb to get in.
Good puertorrican food and atmosphere!!
I moved to Texas some time ago. We have no Puerto Rican restaurants in our area. I’d have to drive 1.5 hours to get to one. So when I visit my daughter in SWFLA I try to drive to El Pilon. I used to frequent this restaurant when I lived here. The arroz con gandules is delicious so are the maduros, black beans and the fried pork. The empanadas and the tostones too! I grew up in the Northeast around a lot of Puerto Ricans. And this place hits the spot. I truly miss it. I wish they would open a location in Naples. If you like authentic Puerto Rican food, give El Pilon a try. It’s been consistently good for the past 25 years!
El Pilon reminds me of home in new york. its so nice to have a place close to my house here that gives me that, the food is excellent from the rce down to the pasteles and mofongo.. im a fan Parking: big parking lot
