El Monumento

This is the crown jewel of Georgetown. Their ambience and decor is simple and perfect. If you are lucky you can eat with a riverside view. Their menu is small but well crafted. Everything tasted amazing starting with tortilla chips. They are amazing. We ordered Chicken fajitas and tres leches cake. El Monumento is the best!!!

It's such a beautiful place! The food does not disappoint at all. As busy as it was, the staff is really friendly and at the top of their game. Parking: It's a popular place that the parking lot fills up and you have to find street parking.

The atmosphere was awesome friendly people service took a while to serve us we had to walk up to the bar get our drinks it was our first time my first expression wasn't good but I will go give it other try sorry I forget to take a pictures of our food

Dined w/ family. Such a nice atmosphere but always disappointed with the food, we only go when someone else has picked the venue. We had multiple items …Burger was burnt w 2 pieces of green chile. when the remake was finally brought out the server asked if a box was wanted before even putting plate down. It took that long to get it out. Tortilla soup had virtually no liquid in it, green enchiladas with chicken came out with what looked like pork which was over seasoned. Tacos were bland, meat was dry. Campechana was ok. The server was pleasant.

Loved the food here and ambiance

The atmosphere is a really really good whether you're in the bar, in the courtyard, on the back patio overlooking the river, or inside enjoying the air conditioning. The food is well above par Tex-Mex. Between the food and the atmosphere the prices are a little high but well worth a special experience. And the ice shaved margaritas are worth the trip alone.

Parking: Park on the lower portion of the parking area.

El Monumento is a great spot for a fun dinner. Good food and great atmosphere, expect a wait, as it's frequently busy with a wait. Happy hour includes deals on house margs. Get outdoor seating on a nice day if you can.
