This place is ridiculous! Food is great, nice serving size, and their fall speciality drinks are so so delicious.

A little gem for sure. Small restaurant, friendly staff. The time frame we went it was quiet and not busy at all. If you are looking for a nice relaxed time, then go during the week, before dinner time. The owner was pleasant and welcoming. The food was flavorful and the juice drinks amazing. No you don’t need to speak Spanish to order or go there, everyone speaks English. Try it, I think you’ll enjoy it!

Al llegar al lugar domingo 8:40pm nos dimos cuenta, que no había nadie en el lugar, sólo dos meseras, muy amables por cierto. Mi esposo dijo, tal vez es porque es domingo no ay personas consumiendo en el lugar!! Hicimos una broma, ¡¡tal vez es porque no es bueno el lugar. Nos atendieron muy rápido, ya que éramos las únicas personas en ese momento (consumiendo ahí). Cuando pedí el (platillo mar y sol) o no se, no recuerdo, muy bien el nombre del platillo, la carne tenía color raro, con un olor agrio creí que era el aderezo que traía arriba la carne, al cortar la carne y ponerla en mi boca me di cuenta que estaba en mal estado, me cambiaron el platillo. Mi esposo, espero que trajeran mi comida, para comer juntos. Al llegar mi segundo plato la comida de mi esposo estaba fría, pedí que se la calentarán un poco, pero dijeron que era tarde ya estaban casi listos para cerrar.Tengo que decir que cuando me trajeron el segundo plato mi apetito se había ido, todo se miraba viejo y no comí más que un pedazo de carne y la verdad el primer plato me quito el apetito mi esposo me dijo es por eso que no confío en este tipo de restaurant, gracias a eso jamás intentará comer de nuevo en algún otro restaurant hispano, el dijo que les dejará saber que lo único bueno que consumió ese día fueron las cervezas 😂😂. Después de todo lo que pasamos al ver la cuenta es una locura.. eso pasa por no mirar las reseñas en google..

El Matador is a pleasure and the food is fantastic! We come here often and i must say the service is great! Emily and her team are very accommodating and attentive. The drinks are strong and tasty. The food here is always delicious, we have never had a bad meal. This place is our #1 go to restaurant! If you haven't been here yet, put it on your list! You wont regret it!

Good Food ,Great service a bit on the pricey side but overall well 👌🏽

This is not a Dominican Restaurant. Piñacoladas are really good here tho.
