My best friend and I used to go to this restaurant several times a week when it first opened in the early 90s. I’ve since moved away but I love this place. Amazing affordable food and friendly service. I was feeling nostalgic so I googled it and am glad it’s still here and thriving. I’ve never eaten chili Colorado better than theirs. Thanks for the memories.

The place looked vibrant. The service crew upbeat and helpful. The food came fast. We ordered the el maguey fajita for two. It had beef, shrimp, sausage and chicken. It was huge and soooo delicious! It was more texmex than authentic mexican but yummy just the same. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

By FAR the BEST El Maguey location in the greater St. Louis area. The food is fresh and made to order (no need to worry about nasty rice and beans made days ago). The chips are always warm and the salsa lightly chilled, just the way I like! The staff is phenomenal and there is always someone walking around to help if you need something. The food comes out quickly after ordering, so don't worry about filling up on chips and salsa because your meal takes forever to come to the table. Definitely recommend this location if you're up for Mexican food, you won't be disappointed! Vegetarian options: They have an entire section for vegetarian options. Dietary restrictions: They cater to your dietary needs, let them know when ordering. Parking: PLENTY of parking. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, so there is always parking available - even on weekends and dinner/lunch rush. Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and handicap accessible.
