Chorizo is always burnt

Unfortunately I can't recommend the food. I had a takeout plate of Huevos Rancheros w/ carnitas. The carnitas was about 20% meat & mostly potatoes which appeared to be left-over home fries. These potatoes had a sour taste, they were not fresh & the dish was inedible. DKW they would try to reuse nasty fried potatoes in carnitas of all things?

Love el jefes always gets me right every time I go

Went for the first time yesterday with 3 other people and we all loved it. My burrito was huge and really flavorful and my wife's chicken rice bowl was perfect. Highly recommend this spot

5 stars for a few reasons.. Post COVID so many restaurants decided to start closing early. I've been eating at el jefes for years. - They are open until 3am - The staff has always been helpful to me - The food has actually gotten BETTER since they opened, not worse. - I work super late and I'm also a bit nocturnal so it's great to be able to get out of the house and grab a bite here until 4am (Harvard location). Keep it up guys 👍
