El Jefe Texican Cantina

This has to be one of the worst meals I have ever had in downtown charleston, or in general. The chips were alright, the sweet tea had a very strange after taste. The food was an abomination, immediately made my boyfriend and I’s stomach hurt. I got 2 enchiladas and the cheese sauce was completely cooked, the chicken was dry, and the tortilla was soggy. The Texas grilled cheese was all grease no flavor, with over cooked bacon and mid french fries. Our server was nice enough, it was hard to get her attention. Overall, don’t waste your time, money, or energy on this disgusting establishment. Spent 50 bucks for two people!!!!

Pitchers are definitely worth it, steak is super tender, and our server Andria was very knowledgeable of the menu and super attentive. Happy to have made a stop here while in Charleston!

Came for the Super Bowl and our server Andria was super helpful and tried to accommodate for my allergies. Great time here. Not horrible pricing, Would recommend.

Came by to watch a football game, the food was great and the service was even better, Isabelle who was our server made the experience 10x better, gave us advice on what to eat, and consistently checked in on us! Make sure to stop by!

Isabelle was really great and attentive. We were here for the Super Bowl, one of the busiest times, and she did not miss a beat. She was very nice and patient with us when we decided to wait on dessert. She even waited until after the halftime show to see if we needed anything. 10/10 service from her and the food was great. I will be back!
