El Jefe Cafe

I had been going to El Jefe for decades but recently had a horrible experience and will not be returning. I have ordered chile verde burritos for years but my last visit I was served pork and squash burrito with canned tomatillo sauce. If the concoction were good then I would just enjoy it but it wasn’t.. When I complained the waitress decided to argue with me and my wife instead of correcting the order. Having ordered the burrito for years I was extremely disappointed and upset with our experience. Should have taken a picture so I could post here, oh well. If you dare to dine here, beware.

One great family owned business. Got the chance to meet and talk to the family. Welcomed us Ohio Buckeye with a smile. Nothing fancy, doesn't need to be, very clean and great service. Fun place to take your family. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Las ocasiones que vamos mi papá y yo, nos atienden muy muy bien, son personas muy agradables y tratan en lo posible servir rápido los platillos, están pendientes de los clientes. El restaurante tiene una apariencia mexicana bonita, la comida es muy rica. Olvidaba mencionar que el personal habla español e inglés, por lo que no hay inconveniente, son muy accesibles, muchas gracias.

Good food

Upper scale Taco shop. Food was good.

Very American iced Mexican food. It was great for gringos. Putchers of beer prices were phenomenal. Nice staff.

Good food. Great service. Casual environment. Very reasonable prices. What's not to like? Will def go there next time I'm in SC.

Beef taco was no mis-steak and the shrimp was shrimply irresistible. Quick, flavorful, and great service. 10/10. Will definitely be back.
