I do not know how this restaurant has a 4.5. maybe it's their friends and family or they had a different cook. I have no idea but last night my family came in to eat. The food was horrible. I ordered the whole flounder and when it came and I tasted it, it was fried too hard and when I ate it it did not taste right but I ate it anyway to not complain. Fresh Fish is never supposed to smell fishy and taste like dirt. I tried to make it better with lime and tajin,But nothing worked. I finally gave up. Since early this morning I have been sick all day to my stomach and not been able to eat anything today. My daughter's chile relleno was probably the worst I have ever tasted. She couldn't eat hers either.The service wasn't any better either. We will never return again.

El Gallo es un restaurante mexicano con 2 o 3 platos de la cocina brasileña, lamentablemente esto deja mucho que desear. Creo que le falta mas variedad brasileña para hacerle honor al nombre. Probamos la picanha, bastante decepcionante. Estaba sobrecocinada y dificil de masticar. Tambien pedimos carne asada y fue otro desastre, no se que tipo de carnes usaron, generalmente es flank steak, pero este estaba dificil de masticar, sobrecocinado y super duro de masticar. Algo que si me encanto fue su arroz mexicano! Sumamente delicioso! El servicio tambien fue bueno, ahi no tengo quejas!

El Gallo is amazing! Best Staff and service! I have never had a bad meal here! Their plantains are delicious as well as the quesadillas! 10 out of 10 Will be back!

Great lunch spot off of Decker Boulevard ! Food has been great every single time I’ve been here. Free parking. Never a wait time if you’re in a hurry.
