What a total disappointment. Despite recommendations praising the owner, Angela as a true American dream—a Peruvian women who used to work the corners, saving enough money to overcame challenges to own her own restaurant—I decided to try it for Peruvian cuisine and because I am a true believer of second chances. We ordered ceviche, papa a la huancayna, lomo saltado, and grilled chicken. However, the ceviche tasted like a salty garlic soup with partially frozen fish, and the huancayna had a flavor reminiscent of rotten cheese. Lomo saltado was overly salty, with an inexplicable addition of “soy sauce”. The chicken appeared undercooked, with a pinkish-red hue throughout. Surprised the health department hasn't shut them down. For those seeking a great Peruvian family restaurant with a clean environment, this is certainly not the place to spend your money.
