El Famous Burrito

First time at this place for bfast .. AMAZING we had their burgers before which are also great ! But the bfast was amazing .. tasted like homemade .. and they also had great music if you like mexican oldies that is . Highly recommend this place if you want just a simple homemade bfast !

Steak is underrated , it’s got a lot flavor. And service is always the best. Music and atmosphere, great to just sit and do work.

I grew up with the location in Waukegan years ago. So glad there's finally an alternative to El Faro. (That other place... let's just say there's some unwanted six-legged friends over there...) El Famous on the other hand is clean and delicious! And the steak is superb! And the music there is surprisingly hip! Definitely the spot in Summit for a quick taco or burrito.

People there are polite

I went there bcz someone recommended to me, what a mistake. Big disappointment, the worst "Mexican food" I've ever had, this was my first and last time, I would never go back.

Chilaquiles taste was a 6.8/10. Sauce was decent in flavor. The main issue was the price and amount that was actually served. $15 for one spoonful of chilaquiles and one spoonful of meat. The eggs were well cooked, normal amount of rice and beans, could've used some seasoning for flavor. Have had other food items from here in the past which were more worth the price such as the cheese fries with meat and everything. Tacos are good here as well. It's just if you want chilaquiles, go elsewhere. If you want a good deal for more amount and cheaper price, similar taste, del carmen is where it's at with their chilaquiles. As I said, other food was good here, just a bit disappointing with the chilaquiles.

The tacos, rice, and horchata from this place are all amazing!! Good service and prices, will definitely be coming back!
