The BEST chili relleno I have ever had!

I've been to this restaurant numerous times. Due to the service and quality I will not be going back. The servers have a terrible attitudes and the place is a dump. Upon arriving home for my horrible experience I noticed that the valet attendant backed my car into a pole damaging my rear bumper. I called and asked to speak to the manager. He informed me that they contract out for the parking service, and that someone would call me. I did receive a call back from a lady that claimed to be in charge or the parking. She basically gave me her song and dance regarding not being responsible because I didn't notice these parking fools damaged my car before I left the property. Over the years, the quality of service has gone down drastically. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Parking: Damaged my car and did not accept responsibility.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! Not only was the food scrumptious, my the service was marvelous! There wasn’t a second where we didn’t have chips! Highly recommend, for sure coming back!

My birthday dinner at El compadre was awesome. My first time to have a glass of margaritas with fire, and I really enjoyed. The food is so good! I felt like I was in Mexico. Gracias!

Amazing customer service. Food is delicious The environment is very romantic with live music The entire team working there has an outstanding sense of urgency from the hostess to the servers , especially the bartenders. I love El compadre in Echo Park! I've been a loyal customer for years ❤️

Low light well decorated place made me feel like i was in mexico. Our order of food took plenty longer than expected, about an hour. The salsa is the best ive ever had. Flaming coconut margarita was absolutely delicious.

Great atmosphere, great live music, pretty good Micheladas n Margaritas . Food was decent. It was packed on a Saturday night and we got seated quickly. Food and drinks were ordered shortly after we were seated and in no time we were eating. We'll be back!
