EL CHINITO JR tacos de birria

Hace tiempo que no había visitado mis tacos de birria favoritos aquí en Chula Vista y el día de hoy que fui me lleve una tristeza por que el caldo sabía demasiado a clavo no me gusto para nada y la carne estaba muy seca. Nunca me había disgustado la comida de aquí como hoy :(

The food is good! Good deals! HOWEVER, the salsa had a funky smell! asked for more, and they all smelled bad. In the end, I got a different salsa, was dark with oil, was ok. DISAPPOINTED!

Too much clove flavor and missing the tast of birria too watery. But service was decent.

I can’t eat much here because I don’t eat meat but I come get tacos for my coworkers because they say it’s THE BEST birria besides Ed’s. The only downside is how late they open sometimes 10ish and they only take cash. I’ve just realized I thought I was reviewing the place on Montgomery & that this is somewhere else anyway, it’s still 5 stars for the birria tacos I imagine they’re the same.

They say they close at 5 but I come early and there always saying there closed. Everytime I get there Its always close even at 4:30. They should change there hours online, I even call before I go so they can confirmed they close at 5 but they don’t.

Service is bad

Best birria tacos for sure. The salsa and the fresh pot beans make it extra good! Los mejores tacos de birria, con frijoles de la olla y la salsa bien pocosita!!
