El Chile Café y Cantina

The food and drinks here are great. We enjoyed taco (chicken, fish, and veggie), nachos, and several drinks. The food came out quickly and was very hot. The drinks were chilled well and tasty. My only complaint is tight parking situation. Otherwise, will be back!

Drinks are solid. Food is awesome. Staff is friendly. Just an all around great spot.

Dinner last night consisted of guac, soup and fajitas. The guacamole was very generous and fresh. I prefer the chips served with the salsa over the different chips served with the guac. The posole and tortilla soups were warm and delicious. The fajitas came out sizzling and smelled great. But, the chicken fajitas were so disappointing. Totally overcooked and dry. We mentioned the issue and our waiter brought us freshly grilled chicken, which was very nice.

Always great food to be found here. The portions are always larger than I expected. Never had too much trouble parking. The menu is pretty robust too. Always something good to be had.

Good tacos ,especially the shrimp tacos

Have been going to El Chile for almost 10 years. It is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. Great food and solid service. Food always comes out fast! Love their new brunch menu!
