We ordered takeout and were extremely underwhelmed by the food. The grilled chicken quesadilla was made with American cheese and didn’t taste like any quesadilla I had ever had before (likely due to the bizarre American cheese). The fajita salad was cooked fine, but seemed entirely unseasoned. The staff were lovely when we picked up the food, but I can’t in good conscience recommend anyone eat there unless you hate Mexican food and want to eat something that is absolutely as far from Mexican food as you can get.

A must stop in Old Town Winchester! Top-shelf Margarita with Tacos al Carbon will definitely brighten your day. The special "Hot Sauce" with the tacos is fantastically hot and spicy.

We really enjoyed our experience here for my husband's birthday. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic. The server we had was very friendly and attentive. Each of us had different dishes. I had the carnitas, my favorite mexican dish, and it was delicious! My husband wasn't thrilled that there were tomatoes in his fajitas. Otherwise, he really liked his food. My parents had the enchiladas and chimichangas. Both were on point! Very delicious! Dessert was amazing! Highly recommend the fried ice cream!

Food was excellent as always. The chips were fresh and staff checked if we wanted more. The main courses were delivered hot. My wife and daughter split the Texas Fajitas for 2, I ordered the Pollo Asado. The fajitas were loaded with protein - lots of steak, shrimp, and chicken. The vegetables were well grilled. I tried the Pollo Asado which is a marinated chicken. It was flavorful without being too spicy. My wife and I ordered the mango margarita, she got the large which I recommend. Not too much but a healthy sized drink. The whole experience was great. The service was a little slow but not annoyingly so. Kid-friendliness: A great place for kids to be kids. Our kids are all grown but I could see bringing a child here without any concerns.

Great place delicious food

Immediate seating even on a Friday night. Food was great, and the server was friendly. One of our party left her purse when we left. We returned later, and the restaurant retired it to us, intact! Awesome place.
