El Catrin Destileria

Very unique and memorable meals, Service was very good, more than expected. Our server Alyssa was very friendly, gave us very comfortable atmosphere with good sense of humor and helped us with a good choice of meal that me shared. Always liked that restaurant in Distillery.

Vegetarian options: Loved the fried potato tacos

Great food. Not an amazing beer selection, but wine and spirits list looked good. Inside has a cool atmosphere. I visited when it was raining, but the outdoor patio with the fire pit looks Ike it would be awesome. This place is busy, so reserve.

El Catrin Destileria is tucked away in the Distillery District on Tankhouse Lane. It's a wonderful gem of a restaurant, and I have eaten there several times - both inside and outside. Service staff are very friendly and accommodating, welcoming patrons and serving them with equal care and efficiency (this latter word seems to be a dominant part of my review lexicon - and for good reason). Both inside and outside are charming in terms of decor. Tables are reasonably spacious, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Food and drinks are both delicious. I have ordered several things off the menu, and they have all been outstanding. The guacamole is made fresh at your table (if you choose to order it), and it is quite tasty. If you are in the Distillery District, and you feel the need for nosh, take a little detour to El Catrin - you won't regret it!

Incredible experience! Great service. Delicious food. They even made a gorgeous “Happy Anniversary” churro plate for us. Would absolutely come back!

The beef tacos were on point. True Mexican style.
