I really enjoyed my time here at Café at the Mission. San Juan Capistrano is a beautiful city and I thought I’d take my grandmother out for a treat touring the city and taking her for a small place for brunch. There are a lot of tasty options to choose from at the café. I ended up getting the breakfast croissant, which was an excellent choice. It’s a small café with nice indoor and outdoor seating. Very festive during the time of year I went. As far as service, it’s an order at the counter, and you get served at your table. Food - 13/20 Service - 5/10 Atmosphere - 6/10 Total - 24/40 Food -
Cute little café. You're able to get to know a little about the history of the area.
We ordered the breakfast burritos to go. These were the strangest breakfast burritos we have ever had. There were Parmesan cheese balls inside them. We wondered if they ran out of cheese and were improvising. Fancy a dry powdered egg and fried Parmesan cheese ball burrito? This is your place! The Inn is beautiful and the cafe is cute. We just don’t recommend the breakfast burritos.
Outstanding service from the assistant general manager! Food was excellent. Thank you!
wouldnt give us a salad because it “wasnt a part of their breakfast menu” and they dont serve lunch until 11:30. we literally walked in at 11:20??? what the hell lmao just make the salad its gling to be lunch in 10 mins and they still absolutely refused to make it
Now that there is a singer during breakfast on the weekend, there are no available tables. If there are, they are not cleaned.
Overpriced on their canned soda $5.45 which is serve yourself on the soda you get from their cooler. Taking advantage of the reasoning that all prices went up which is not totally true.
