The best tacos in SGV! They only serve Birria. But it comes with an excellent consome and kickin salsa! $4 for a taco. And well worth it!
We are so fortunate as Angelenos to have access to so many varieties of delicious Mexican food, and Birria tacos with consommé is a must try. This a food truck parked in a unassuming residential neighborhood with plenty of parking all around. We got the sample platter & the 3 amigos platter which came out to be $36+ after taxes. Inflation is real. Each platter comes with a bag of diced onions/cilantro, radish chips, and 2 different salsas to garnish your tacos. The consommé was and should always be the star of the meal, and I thought it had a very good flavor with a hint of spicy and sweetness. To be honest, all the tacos utilized the same ingredients, just prepared differently. So perhaps one platter to share would have been enough, but we couldn't help ourselves. They closed shop at 8 on a Saturday, but I think they would have more success serving as a midnight snack. They accept card and Apple Pay. Support your local businesses when possible!
Where’s the truck? I’m here and no pickup, truck, or advertisement.
Just had the mulita tacos and they were SO GOOOOOD.
The birriria tacos are so good. They have a simple menu and Mexican Coke. Super friendly. It's a truck so eat at or inside your car.
This is a great food truck in Pasadena. If you've driven by this you may have noticed that they advertise a bone marrow taco. Well, I decided to try it today and it was delicious. It's not cheap and it's not fast, but it is fully of umami and it's tasty! After taxes it was about $11 and it came with some tender beef on two corn tortillas and a huge bone with the marrow topped with pickled onions, white onions, and cilantro. I was intrigued by the concept and it was certainly a nice treat. I'm not sure if I'll order it again since I'm a fan of the mainstream street tacos, but it is certainly worth trying at least once. The rest of their menu is focused on birra and there are no other meats on the menu. They also offer cheese dishes. I'll happily go back and start to try other dishes on their menu. The entire menu looked tasty.
Best Birria Tacos in Pasadena (in my opinion).
