Great food f9r the price..definitely will return for a 2nd visit

LOVE that this restaurant found a bigger home with a full bar!! Every single item on the menu is absolutely delicious, but favorites are the enchilada plate, chicken burrito wet with green sauce, and the albondigas soup. Everyone here is super kind and responsive. It's tough to find a great Mexican place that tastes like my mom's and tías' cooking, but Azteca has filled that hole in my heart (and stomach). Not greasy, not too salty, and always flavorful. My husband used to eat here 3-4 times a week when we lived/worked closer, and I've been twice in the past week. And excellent place to bring friends and family or just enjoy on your own. We love you, Azteca!! Parking: Convenient strip mall location with plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: Full size, real changing table with wipeable mattress in women's restroom rather than those plastic kangaroo care fold down things (not sure about men's). High chairs available and delicious and generously portioned kids' meal options.

Was looking for a Mexican restaurant for lunch and came across this place. I gotta say this is a hidden gem, I live in fountain valley and never been here but I will for sure be coming here for lunch and dinner. Maria was very attentive and nice. The food was amazing.

This place is awesome! Great Mexican food and hometown vibe! So stoked they opened up walking distance from my house. Full bar, great food, great service! It's good to be home!

El Azteca Grill & Cantina has been a part of Fountain Valley / Huntington Beach for a long time. Recently they moved to a bigger better location and now offer a full bar. I have eaten here for over 20 years and there food has been consistently great. Parking: In the new location El Azteca shares parking with some other shops, but there is plenty of parking with handicap parking spots a store front away. There is also overflow parking behind the restaurant but I have never had to park there. Kid-friendliness: El Azteca offers some kid friendly food items for kids: hamburger, quesadilla, fried shrimp, chicken strips, etc...

Excellent food, waitress tired but minimally performed her duties even if slowly and without enthusiasm...left 20 percent tip minus 1 dollar
