El Amigo Taco serves up good but not great tacos. You'll get a legitimate street taco experience but probably won't be in a rush to return. The bean and cheese is their best. The trailer is cash only so be prepared. Parking is sort of random because they're in between the HEB and the car wash. You'll need to either occupy a car wash stall or walk just a bit to the trailer from the larger parking lot.

Really nice people and delicious tacos! I tried tacos: Chicken Fajita, Carnitas, Pastor Definitely going to try some other stuff next time. Can’t wait! I could have used a touch more hot sauce.. I’ll ask for more. The verde sauce is awesome

Must try for taco lovers. I used to drive by this humble food truck, and every time after noon there was a line of hispanic people. One day it clicked for me, if this is the Mexican food truck frequented by hispanics, the spot must have some great good. For your information, this is a cash only truck, but there is an atm across from the bench, and a bank across from the truck. So I walked over one day and grabbed a variety of tacos, and let me tell you, excellent food. You can have flour or corn tortillas, the chicken taco meat is this brilliant fajita style seared to perfection meat. Same brilliant sear and tasty beef. The cilantro and onions are always fresh and crisp. And one of my favorite parts of this truck is the awesome staff, there is a kind woman who makes you feel as though your aunt is fixing you a hot plate of delicious food. My advice: Hit an atm, head over and try multiple items. You will thank me.
