I grew up here and never been to this place. Food was phenomenal service was great.
There chili verde has just the right amount of spice. The cuts of pork are lean and tender. The lobster tacos are my go-to dish, though! Yum! The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The margaritas are fresh and tasty.
Good mexican food at good prices. Often there is a wedding to watch, and that's fun too!
The Carne Asada salad from here is so good also loved when they made the guac tableside and eating outdoors but being heated whilst looking at the beautiful SJC historic buildings was amazing. Also cool that this restaurant is where the historic train depot was.
If you happen to be visiting or driving by San Juan Capistrano on your way to the beach, you should definitely make this one of your stops. This is one of many historic little gems in the OC that will leave you with a full satisfied belly and a head full of historical fun facts. Like which of our past US presidents has a menu item named after him? It was this presidents favorite thing to order while eating at his favorite restaurant. El Adobe ❤️
We came for a private event here, the food was really good and the service was good too. It was a really cute place.
