EJ's Café

Visiting Tahoe over 4th of July weekend and stopped in here for a quick breakfast. Food was delicious with high quality ingredients and friendly staff. Highly recommend checking it out.

A great spot, we are locals and really enjoy this unique cafe and coffee shop experience. Such a friendly staff!

Good spot to work while you do laundry

Coffee was terrible. Ordered a white chocolate mocha on recommendation from the barista and a cortado. We did not finish either drink, to be entirely honest we poured them both out. One would assume the speciality at least would be good but nope. I will not be going here again and I’m surprised to see that they are rated so highly.

Great coffee shop in south Lake Tahoe! My wife and I came to work on our computers while on vacay and enjoyed ourselves quite well. We are somewhat of some bagel snobs and gotta brag on their everything bagel! It is DELICIOUS! It was pretty light and toasted to a perfect crisp. And then...drum roll please...they nailed it with the cream cheese. So thankful for some thoughtful slathering

The place has decorations. The Açaí Smoothie bowl was good. The owner was a bit rude when we asked if she will charge us extra for another type of milk. She was stress because she was low with staff and supply. Hopefully she will hire more staff and buy more supply to improve her services ‍♂️

Awful service. They get so busy their quality of food and customer service suffers severely. Literally the worst food I’ve ever had. Avoid this place like the plague.

Loved the coffee and breakfast at EJ's. It is located right across the street from City of Lake Tahoe Campground. Due to camp fire restrictions it was very convenient to just walk across the street and get coffee and breakfast, than walk 5 minutes to Lake Tahoe.

The place is nice and good atmosphere! The açaí is a smoothie, not a real açaí bowl. It was ok but I will add more fruits and coconut shred. They were with low staff but they did their best.

They were closed down by the state of California for not obtaining a permit.
