Very nice birthday celebration great food very pleased

Trying very hard to not be another restaurant chain, but it is.

Went for my birthday, service was slow, even though it was quiet. Our steak was bland and tasteless, overpriced for what it was. Mushroom and tomato served cold. My husband asked for Dijon mustard and was given something else. I was sat with a spot light in my face. It was disappointing. Attention to detail lacking.

Lovely. Always great with kids. And worlds away from the previously terrible service prior to ego taking over.

A large gastro style pub restaurant. Good food but not exceptional

Had great time with the daughter 1st time here. Yes would definitely come back.

We went here for afternoon tea. The food was quite good but service was way too slow and disorganised. Loads of tables with dirty plates and cups/ glasses. Had to ask repeatedly for our drinks. We only received the hot drinks after we finished our afternoon tea. Could be great but the bad service really let it down. Not blaming staff as there simply wasn't enough staff.

Just returned from a Mother’s Day meal here. What a disappointment. An hour and half before our main courses came out! Then the food was dreadful. Didn’t even bother with the pudding on the 3 course set menu because the children had had enough by this point. Staff were apologetic when we complained, something should’ve been done before it got to that point. Bill was discounted but still begrudge paying for such a rubbish experience.
