Food was good, but they didn't have a basic Eggs Benedict. Even the server said it's often requested and I was told I had to build it a la carte, which made it cost over $30, for that 1 plate. I think mime came out over double their avacado toast benny plate. So I was brought out like 4 plates to construct my own plate out of over dried out english muffin. It is what it is. You would think this place would have the most simple Egg Benedict.
Great cocktails and best Chicken Schnitzel was crispy & tasty. It's on their Seasonal menu but I hope they add it to their Regular menu. Pitchers of mimosas and unique Bloody Mary's. The menu has something for everyone and at every price range. I'm sure Breakfast is a big hit here, but go for dinner.
Good menu, attentive staff. We sat outside on a nice day, near a wooded lot, so I lost the feeling of being in the city. A bit pricey, but on par with comparable places.
Excellent breakfast served in a beautiful, airy environment. Our server made a difference. She was friendly, and bubbly and full of eagerness to fulfill her responsibilities in a very pleasant manner. Thank you.
They have great food and service and has a very chill diy atmosphere with pretty good music
This is one of the best places to eat in San Antonio. The breakfast tacos were packed full of egg, cheese, bacon, chorizos, salsa, avacado, and sour cream. The lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes were a little slice of heaven. If you are a french toast lover, you will enjoy the extravaganza breakfast. The potatoes were scrumptious, and everything was tasty and hot. The service is fast, and the atmosphere is a vibe! Try it, you'll like it!
Heather has been my waitress on several occasions and is a gem! Excellent service, delicious coffee & breakfast. Will be back soon.
We had heard great things about Eggspectation so we went for the very first time today. The service was absolutely horrible. The guy who took us to our seat acted as if we were a bother. Then the waitress came and took our drink order, my husband ordered the oyster sliders and she walked away without taking my food order. Came back about 10 minutes later asking if we were doing ok, my husband informed her that she didn't take my order to which she replied " oh I assumed you wanted those as an appetizer" and then says I'm sorry would you like to order something else.. NO... You messed up why would I feel like ordering when you assumed in the first place.. it was very slow, only 3 parties in the restaurant. Music was so loud and they cared more about their phones and having a cigarette than the customers. It's against health code to have tobacco products and purses settings on the bar where customers food and or drinks are prepared. This was definitely not worth the drive or time. Absolutely horrible experience. Will not be going back .
