Very good if just a bit overpriced breakfast. Great service. Hopefully, I will return. I got the corned beef hash skillet and it was a very large portion! We also shared the Chicken fried bacon . I was glad we tried it & shared with friends.

Trendy restaurant, Food poor, hash browns under cooked, eggs over easy were well done, sausage links under cooked. Ordered additional pancakes were cold by time syrup arrived. My wife didn’t receive her toast until we were leaving. We had three waiters who bounced all over the place.

I had been wanting to try restaurant for a while and yesterday I finally got the chance. It was around 7:30-8:00am when we got there. They were fairly busy, but there was no wait. The restaurant has a really nice vibe, very cute decor. Upon sitting down, we were served water which I thought was nice since we didn't ask. We had a very kind waiter, he had a good attitude and made sure we had everything we needed. I'd say we waited about 10-15 minutes for our food to come out, and when it did I was pretty excited. I ordered the shrimp and grits along with a side of hash browns and fruit. The hashbrown was good, you can't really go wrong with those. My fruit had been forgotten, so I had to wait for someone to come by to say something. The fruit was great, just blueberries and sliced strawberries. Onto the entree. The shrimp and grits were topped with blackened shrimp, chives, onions, bell peppers, and asparagus. It looked (and smelled) great, I couldn't wait to try it. When I did, I couldn't taste anything. I thought it was just me, so I slid the grits to my partner and asked him to try them. He too couldn't taste anything. He said they needed some salt, so he sprinkled some on top and tried them again. That didn't help either and it was very clear that this dish needed more than what salt could provide. The texture of the grits alone were very, very watery. I had to spit them out. The food was pretty underwhelming, especially for the $18 this entree alone costed. I also want to mention that the entire time we were there after receiving our food, no one ever came to check in with us. Maybe if someone had, I could've sent the shrimp and grits back since neither of us ate it. We didn't hear from our waiter again until he brought the check. So overall, the experience wasn't worth it to me and I don't plan on coming back anytime soon. The prices are more on the expensive side, so keep that in mind if you choose to stop by. I hope you have a better experience than we did!

The restaurant is very noisy! The first business I have ever been to that said NO to me that I could not use their WiFi because it used up to much of their bandwidth! More bandwidth from their ISP is a few extra dollars a month! Believe the real reason is they don't want people staying in the restaurant after you finish eating play on the internet! The food was quite good n so was the service! However no WiFi, not going back to Egg Republic again!

First three pictures are from our first visit on 4/20. Came for late lunch before our flight and it was amazing! Forgot to review because of a lost wallet scare before our flight! My wife got the French omelet which was good but my Fig omelet stole the show! It was so good we got another fig omelette to split… they also had a robot that came out once there to help serve! And last picture is of today which was our first chance to eat in Bloomington again and we opted for both getting fig omelette and wasn’t disappointed! Must try!

I visited on Friday 7-14-23 for the first time. We are no strangers to Jack's restaurants but this became an instant favorite and new go-to place for me. The high quality food is delicious and priced fair. Serving sizes are large. Our waitress made sure we were taken care of but didn't bother us or make us feel rushed. One of my top 3 restaurants in Blono - a must visit!
