Quality and value, if you love Japanese food this is the place for you. Small restaurant but big on quality, highly recommended!

The atmosphere here is lacking but the food more than makes up for it. The food is prepared by Winnipeg’s only fully qualified Japanese trained chef. Try it out and you will know exactly what I mean. Chef Masa above and beyond to bring authentic Japanese food to all of Winnipeg

Leaving 5 stars Becuase its a cute place with a great menu and pleasent staff, but I came for the ramen to sadly find out they don't serve it anymore. For those that are coming for the ramen.

I was so sad when they closed their St. Mary’s location which was just across the street from where I work. But so happy when they re-opened at their current location. We usually order nigiri and rolls but we decided to try some other things on the menu. The baby octopus dish was delicious and the scallops were lovely. But the star of the show was the Deluxe Special Bento combo. I liked how you didn’t know exactly what you were going to get and everything was divine.

We attended Edokko on 2024/02/23 during lunchtime. Parking was full, so we had to find a street parking spot. The restaurant's interior was ok, nothing special, but I was used to it in Canada. The food was sooooooooo good that we will revisit this restaurant in the future and will recommend it to our friends. The wish was fresh and almost melted in the mouth. Salads, sashimi, sushi and miso soup everything was perfect. The service was amiable. Five stars for the food and service from us!

So good! The sushi was extremely fresh and full of flavor. Tiny place - only 6 tables so make sure to phone ahead if dining in! Super neat that they have a grocery as well. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options Parking: A handful of spots available for parking along the building and in front. But they have residential streets all around the block with plenty of parking options if you don't mind walking the block.

The best Japanese authentic restaurant in the city. Sashimi is always fresh and grilled Hokke is just amazing. This is the place for true Japanese dishes and highly recommend.

The best sushi in Winnipeg, I’ve been to Japan and to me this is authentic. Great little spot!
