If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Edoboy is my go to place for an amazing and unique sushi dining experience. I have celebrated bachelorettes, birthdays and solo nights here and enough cannot be said for the level of service the chefs and staff offer every single patron. The intimacy of the venue and the limit of the time and size of parties is perfect for this experience. If you want you can enjoy on your own or engage with the parties around you quite easily. The quality and preparation of the sushi is exceptional every time I visit. Try everything on the menu at least once, as I have, it will expand your sushi vocabulary. And if you have any room, do not skip the miso soup and desert. The matcha s’more is incredible if it is still available. Also, you cannot beat the price for the experience, it’s not cheap at all, but I will dare to say it’s on the level of some Omakase experiences but at a better value.
100/10. The experience, the service, the food! Everything is stellar! I’ve been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. Don’t skip the dessert or soup, you’ll regret it.
What an experience! My wife and I came for my birthday, and we got the baller set. It was worth every penny. Every piece is expertly crafted with each of them sending you on a favor journey. I've never had to pause and wait for flavors to go through stages of tastes like this. Definitely will want to come back and try the normal menu items, but you have to try the baller set at least once! The service was impeccable. Having only around 8 people at a time allows them to dedicate as much as they can towards the experience. Nothing was ever rushed, and we were always taken care of. They also had a very cute sign setup to wish me a happy birthday and was just such a sweet gesture.
Everyone just stands around the bar to eat. Had high hopes, but won't be going back. Not a wide variety, but for the price, it's alright for a quick bite. Got the basic 8-piece set, covers most nigiri options. My friend went for the fancier version, felt like a deluxe upgrade with lots of toppings. Sweet shrimp and scallop were tasty and fresh. Some nigiri could use more seasoning to balance the fish flavor. Maybe trying the torched nigiri with mayo would be better. Hand roll was just okay in terms of texture.
Food was delicious! The bad reviews talk about leaving hungry not sure how that’s possible. My wife and I truly enjoyed it and we will be back!
Love the quiet, intimate setting. Presentation is very nice. Staff is amazing!
Small space with standing sushi bar that fits 8. Astounding sushi for the price. The quality of rice and fish at Edoboy rivals some omakase I have had at 2-3x the cost. I recommend selecting your 12 pieces yourself. It’s probably hard to go wrong with any selection, but overall I found the simple raw nigiri more compelling than the torched pieces (which were still delicious). My favorites included the lean tuna, scallop, and eel and crab hand rolls. The miso soup add-on was also balanced and complex. Just personal preference, I would have preferred seating as opposed to standing. But I might run on a treadmill if it meant having these pieces available for the price.
High quality sushi for sure! Melts in your mouth
