We had a wonderful experience at Edison’s! We got a seat by the windows and celebrated the marriage of my mother in law and her new husband. It was everything we could have wanted for the afternoon. We went there for lunch. The service was amazing, they were very attentive without being overbearing. We even got complimentary dessert for our celebration! The smash burger was delicious, fries were very crispy and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their food.

For real.... The best hamburger (Smash Burger) I have ever had. The service was amazing too! Get (Amanda- I think her name is). She was really funny as a server.

Edison, with its incredible views, contemporary style, and cozy fireplace, is visually stunning. ️ Service is consistently top-notch. ️ My kale salad was both gorgeous and tasty, I must admit, even though I can’t stand kale. ️ Meatless choices tend to be limited here, so I really appreciate the addition of a vegan/vegetarian bratwurst, adorned with wonderful goodies and served on a pretzel bun. While I get the idea of a pretzel bun for the brat, it was very heavy without adding significant flavor, dulling the goodness of the other components and diminishing the success of the dish. The fries, though, were fantastic. ️ The good ‘ol GPI is, sadly, not what it used to be. The new owner, money-grubbing corporate behemoth Omni, has banished the community from the spa. And they treat us like garbage when we attempt to view the gingerbread houses at Christmastime - trying to get onto the property during the event, you may be told “we are full, try back later,” even though inside sources subsequently debunk that false narrative. And if you’re somehow able to get in, you’ll find jacked-up parking fees during the holidays - a strident, ugly example of opportunistic price-gouging at its worst.

The Grove Park inn has changed quite a bit in the past ten years still keeping its uniqueness and cozyness that it has during the winter. The kitchen was alright and the view was nice.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Stopped for a light lunch, 3 of us shared a cesar salad and the ploughman's board (meats, cheese, breads, etc) . Everything was excellent. Beautiful view from the dining room. Worth a visit.
