Eddie's Bakery Cafe

I sincerely wanted to like this bakery. However, the customer service was incredibly unwelcoming. As a new customer, I placed my cake order over the phone with a kind employee (I add this because she was genuinely helpful), pre-paid, and scheduled for pick-up. I arrived at the appropriate time, and being that I was new, stood at the counter patiently since I wasn't sure how their system worked and could see they were very busy. After 10 minutes of waiting, an employee looks at me directly, making eye contact, and proceeds to give me a dirty look. A few more minutes pass and another employee finally asks me if I have been helped. After telling her that I pre-paid and have a scheduled time for cake pick-up, she tells me to grab a number and wait. I understand this was my mistake and get into line. However, I expected that a cake pick-up time would be respected, especially since I pre-paid. After a few more minutes, she brings me back to the counter and hands off the cake. To me, it seems like this employee did that for the purpose of making a point. In terms of food quality, the cake was great. However, I don't appreciate the dirty looks or ignoring customers. You would expect a high end bakery to provide high quality baked goods and excellent customer service. Skimming other reviews of individuals and hearing from another colleague who faced the same thing appears to show a trend in this behavior. I, in addition to my friends and work place colleagues, will not be returning to this establishment.

My girl friend bought me a cake for my birthday and I found out not everyone likes fondant but that just means more for me haha it was a special birthday cake for me and you guys couldn't have done a better job on creating my cake for me how i wanted it. I'll most definitely be back to order a cake from you guys.

The BEST pastries and cakes

Cakes, pies and pastries are amazing and well priced. Associates are friendly and helpful. Wheelchair accessibility: Spaces right up front, ramp leads straight to the door.

Staff is rude seem so frustrated and bothered

I come to this shop about twice a year, and every year I'm treated poorly. I forget, my fault, that I have to take a number. However, I noticed that there was one customer in the shop, in front of me while I was standing in line. When the lady at the counter finished helping the customer in front of me, she completely ignored me and walked away, calling the next number like the shop had other guests. We made eye contact, you can clearly see that I was next in line! After being ignored, I took a number and another lady helped me. I ordered 2 cakes that cost around 90 bucks, and she asked me if I wanted any writing on it. I originally said no, but changed my mind last min. Paid extra for the writing. I thought the writing was complementary, I'm not upset, just disappointed
