Good bollo, good bolon. The coffee was very good and traditional. The space was very clean and the lady was very nice. I would have rated 5, but The encebollado needs work it is a 3 out of 5. I recommend trying to find other recipes for it. Other than that it was a good experience.
La mejor comida ecuatoriana de la zona
The authenticity in this place is amazing. The food truly didn’t disappoint. It felt just like at home! Super fresh and clean! Absolutely won’t be my last time!
Went there with the family. We ordered Bolon de chicharon, salchipapas and Cazuela mixto and that was just like if I was in Ecuador
Asked for two cortados today and got espresso drowned in milk despite explaining equal parts espresso & milk. Also the amount of sugar put in was way too much. Some people enjoy the taste of coffee & do not need a ton of milk & sugar. Definitely not happy with the outcome because it was a waste of money.
Holy smokes so far, the best Enceballdo soup I have had in NJ/NY area. Tostones were also a hit. If you read my reviews, you know I'm a well traveled Individual born in JC NJ. Married to a bodiqua from Brooklyn. So I know latin food very well. NEGATIVE ...The only thing I don't like is adding the tip on the total bill. This is a mom and pop shop. With the Daughter doing the service. Entire check goes to family so even if loser customer doesnt leave tip server still gets paid. This really bothers me when places do this. They will lose business because of this. Owner I would rethink your tip policy.
