Horrible dining experience. Ordered baked mussels that were brought out cold covered in cheese. Hopefully I avoid food poisoning from the negligent chef. There are so many sushi places in this town. Please spend your money elsewhere.
Very good food, does not have a kids menu at all so don’t come with kids!
Awesome place. We used to come when we lived in Austin. The owner was really really nice and food was always good.
Ridiculously expensive. Not sure why Google shows "$$". The food is mediocre
Most of the food was good. Don't order the beef terriaki. The atmosphere seems like it would be a relaxing one bc of the lighting and decor, but the music they played was like you were at a club. It was disappointing.
I used to go here all the time and the food was amazing, but recently they served me completely rotten sunomono. It was obvious from the appearance that something was wrong and when I tried a bite it was obviously rotten. I am so disappointed in this place and theyve completely broken my trust by serving me rotten food.
Great food and service. Really enjoyed everything I tried.
Ebisu Japanese Restaurant's seafood ramen disappoints with lackluster flavor and a shortage of seafood, mainly featuring vegetables with only a sparse inclusion of a couple of mussels. Notably absent are essential elements like shrimp, squid, and scallops, while the absence of an egg further diminishes the dish. The sushi fares no better, lacking flavor and failing to impress with its taste. The disappointment extends to the quality of the seafood, as evidenced by the uncleaned mussel shells found in their seafood ramen. This oversight further detracts from the dining experience, highlighting a lack of attention to detail and quality control in the kitchen. Overall, the dining experience at Ebisu leaves much to be desired, especially for those expecting authentic and flavorful Japanese cuisine.
